Domestic security shutters can be manual or electric operation. Manual shutters are operated via cord, geared winding handles or spring & lock operation. Electric shutters are increasingly popular and a wide variety of control options are available. Shutters can be remote control or hard wired and activated individually or in groups.

Insulated security shutters are available in a standard range of colour coatings. Extruded shutters can be powder-coated any RAL colour to match building aesthetics.

• The 2055 insulated shutter is the traditional domestic option.

• The M511 insulated shutter is a similar style, but has the added benefit of being to span up to 5m opening widths.

• The 2001 extruded shutter is typically specified where a high level of security is needed. The product is popular in the commercial field.
