 Security Shutters.
With security an ever-increasing concern for both for home owners and commercial premises, Roché security shutters offer an attractive and affordable solution to the threat of intruders. Added benefits of many of our security shutters include protection against sunlight, and heat and sound insulation. Roché shutters are available in a range of special colour coatings. They are maintenance-free and can be operated manually or motor powered. Electric shutters can be remote controlled or hard wired, individually or from one master switch.
Applications
Roché security shutters are suitable for a variety of applications, including schools, hospitals, shops, miscellaneous commercial premises and private housing. Shutters may be installed integrally during building construction or externally to existing buildings.
Roché's product portfolio includes alternative shutter fixing options.
(1) Built-in shutters offer security with the added benefit of being unobtrusive; installed during construction the shutter guides can be built-in to the window frame or lintel.
(2) Built-on shutters are installed on the exterior or interior of buildings running within strong guide channels.
Roller shutters may be operated manually or electrically via switches and remote control. When fully lowered, shutters are locked within their guides. Vented light slots may be incorporated.
Composition, manufacture
The box and guide channels are manufactured from extruded aluminium. The curtains are of insulated foam-filled or extruded aluminium, dependent on span and application. Fire shutters are manufactured from steel.
Appearance
Standard colours are complimented by the facility to powder coat materials to specific RAL colours to ensure quality aesthetics.
Product development is ongoing and Roché has complimented it's range of standard shutters with "vision profile" slats to meet the demands of many local authorities for see through protection.
Operation
All electric shutters are supplied with the Inis Uno single pole switch as standard. Key switch and remote control operation is available as an optional extra.
Manual shutters can be cord, spring & lock or rod crank operation.
