Quality Components
Our roller garage doors are designed in Germany and manufactured and assembled in our Shropshire factory. The roller doors utilise only the highest quality materials available and we never compromise quality by substituting inferior components to save money.
The standard garage door slats profile is a 77mm roll formed section with polyurethane foam installation. The 77mm profile is utilised for widths of up to 5.5m (18 feet). Greater spans can be achieved with alternative profiles. A 55mm profile with 205mm housing can be utilised in situations where headroom above the opening may be an issue, although the span is limited to 3.5m (12 feet). To utilise the 55mmm profile in the reduced housing the opening height should not exceed 2150mm.
The slats are endlocked with strengthened pvc mouldings to produce a rolling curtain. The bottom slat is heavy duty extruded aluminium with a dual formed weather seal for optimum integrity.
Vision profile & ventilation slats can also be incorporated as required, dependent on individual requirements
The curtains run in 90mm or 70mm high security guide channels with protective brush and neoprene inserts to ensure smooth operation.
Remote Control Operation
All our Roller Garage Doors are fitted with a Somfy ( www.somfy.co.uk ) CE marked electric tubular motor with automatic limit controls. A manual override facility ensures the doors can be opened in the event of a power failure.
A PDT control panel ensures ( www.pdtechnology.co.uk ) rolling encrypted code is transmitted for each signal. An integrated courtesy light activates on operation and long life lithium batteries power the key-fob handsets. Inbuilt safety sensors ensure safety is not compromised.
Simply press the remote control button and the roller garage door automatically glides open. You'll never again need to struggle with heavy, sticking garage doors. The remote control utilises a rolling encrypted code to ensure your signal is unique. The small handset allows you to operate the door from a distance of up to 50 metres and a courtesy light is automatically triggered as the door opens.
Safety
An electric roller garage door is normally the largest moving part of your home; the risk of injury to family and pets or damage to vehicles can be high especially if your old door is in a state of disrepair. Automatic roller garage doors come with the latest in wireless safety sensor systems that prevent the garage door closing if there is an obstruction within the opening.
High Security
Conventional garage doors are notoriously insecure. All roller garage doors, offer the very latest in security and safety. Automatically locking on closure, there are no handles to be tampered with and no leverage points for would-be intruders. Roche has it's origins in security shutter manufacture and we have adapted our roller shutter technology to offer solutions in the garage door market.
Heat & Sound Insulation
The roller garage doors have a polyurethane insulation within the aluminium slats as standard, minimising heat loss and sound penetration.
Space Saving
Traditional up and over garage doors take up a lot of room and decrease the useable space in your garage. Roché roller garage doors fit flush to brickwork and the curtain retracts into a compact aluminium box. Mounted internally or externally, you get more garage space without major building work.
Housing Sizes:
77mm
250mm (10 inches) accommodates an opening of up to 1950mm (6 feet 5 inches). 300mm (12 inches) accommodates an opening of up to 3000mm (9 feet 10 inches). 360mm (14 inches) accommodates an opening of up to 4500mm (14 feet 9 inches).
55mm
The 55m profile is designed to roll into 205mm (8 inch) housing for low headroom applications.
